Our stay at Rainbow Ranch Lodge in Big Sky was nothing short of magical. The views, the atmosphere, and especially the food made this a truly unforgettable experience.
Dinner at Wild Caddis was exceptional. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Nick, a Montana native with a background in farming, who took the time to talk with us about his journey and his approach to food. After he explained how he makes his French onion soup, I had to order it — and it was hands down the best French onion soup I’ve ever had. Truly magical.
Everything we ordered was outstanding: the corn chowder, mushroom goat cheese wontons, beet salad, Caesar salad, huckleberry chicken, and the short rib — each dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Breakfast was just as amazing and set the tone for the day.
The staff throughout the lodge were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The bartenders were on point — Stephen was great conversation, and while I sadly can’t remember the other bartender’s name, she made me the most delicious huckleberry cocktail.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Add in the stunning scenery, peaceful atmosphere, and exceptional service, and this place truly delivers on every level.
We can’t wait to visit again. Five stars across the board!
