After more than 26 years of growing grapes for some of Napa
Valley's finest wineries, the Hill Family decided to produce
their own wines. In 2001, Hill Family Estate released their
first vintage a "Beau Terre" vineyard designated Merlot and
proprietary blend by the name of "Origin." By definition, Origin
is the foundation, the beginning of something. For the Hills',
their passion for wine and love for the Napa Valley all begins
with family.
Who we grow for...Doug Hill currently manages 600 acres
of vineyard producing grapes for many of the best wineries
in the Napa Valley. They include: Duckhorn, Silver Oak, Surh
Luchtel, Cakebread, Stags Leap Winery, Stags Leap Wine
Cellars, Havens, Franus, Spelletich Cellars, Franciscan Estate,
Caymus, and Mumm Winery.
