 Spring is in the air, here in Big Sky, Montana. Warmer weather is slowly starting to set in, replacing Old Man Winter, once more. With the prospect of nicer weather on the horizon, we hope to start many of our exterior construction projects soon. The interior of the new Lodge is also taking shape, with sheet-rock scheduled to be installed later this week, and the cedar ceilings next week. Overall, construction is progressing well, and we are still on schedule to re-open July 1st.
Construction aside, there's still a lot that needs to be accomplished before we open, this summer. That being said, I'd like to introduce the rest of the new management team. With their diverse backgrounds, and world class experience, they will play a vital role in helping to restore the Rainbow Ranch Lodge experience...one that's been enjoyed by many, over the years.

Executive Chef Michael Ruhland comes to us from the ultra exclusive Yellowstone Club, here in Big Sky, where he's spent the past 3 years. Prior to the Yellowstone Club, Michael spent time at the Triple Creek Ranch, a highly regarded Relais & Chateaux property, and the Papoose Creek Lodge, both of which are located in Montana. In addition, Michael has worked in fine dining restaurants throughout the south, including a few stops in the Memphis, TN area.
Restaurant Manager John Colglazier comes to us, most recently, from Buck's T-4, a local Big Sky landmark, and popular restaurant. Prior to Buck's T-4, John spent time managing many well known and successful restaurant operations, including The Pinnacle at Big Sky, The Gallatin River Lodge restaurant, and the Mint Cafe in Belgrade, MT.
Hotel Manager LenElla Tabor comes to Rainbow Ranch Lodge via The Bellevue Club Hotel, outside Seattle, Washington. LenElla played an integral role in helping to establish The Bellevue Club Hotel as one of the top rated properties in the greater Seattle area, eventually earning the coveted 4 diamond rating. In addition to her hotel responsibilities, LenElla will take on the role of Event Planner, drawing upon her extensive experience in high-end wedding and overall event planning.
